A FORMULA FOR PROSPERITY

Privatize

As your Treasurer, I will advocate for the privatization of as many government-run services as possible. By reducing state control and promoting private sector efficiency, we can cut costs, improve service quality, and free up resources to pay down debt. Government monopolies have no incentive to provide good customer service and reasonable prices. Their failures and shortcomings only result in increased taxes, fees, and prices. Privatization and outsourcing will result in entrepreneurs to step in and provide superior service at better prices with increased accountability.

Energize

Pennsylvania is rich in energy resources, being the second largest producer of natural gas in the US. We do not achieve prosperity by reducing the energy we consume. I will work to unlock these natural resources as well as promote develop other methods of energy production, such as nuclear, to ensure Pennsylvania has the energy it needs to prosper well into the future.

Monetize

We have all felt the effects of price inflation over the past several years. This was inevitable following the massive amount of money created in response to COVID and the money printing has not stopped. Currently the federal government is adding debt at the rate of approximately $1 Trillion dollars every 3 months, which is almost $4 trillion dollars per year. This level of debt is unsustainable and will continue to drive prices up as more money enters the economy chasing a similar number of goods. I will work to promote the use of alternative assets such as gold and bitcoin, and ensure the treasury can receive and hold these assets. These assets can provide not only stability to inflation, but potentially grow in relative value as the dollar continues on its downward decline.

Nick on the Issues

  • Open Financial Records: I will ensure all state financial transactions and accounts are easily accessible and transparent to the public. This includes real-time reporting on state expenditures, investments, and debt.
  • Regular Audits: I will mandate independent audits of all state departments to prevent waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer money.
  • Maximizing Returns: I will invest state funds prudently to maximize returns while minimizing risk, ensuring that taxpayer money is used efficiently.
  • Ethical Investments: I will avoid investments that rely on government subsidies or bailouts, focusing instead on financially sound and ethical opportunities.
  • Incorporating Bitcoin: As part of a diversified investment strategy, I will allocate a significant portion of the state’s investment portfolio to Bitcoin, recognizing its potential for high returns and its role as a hedge against inflation.
  • Reduce State Debt: I will implement strategies to reduce Pennsylvania’s debt burden, prioritizing debt repayment to alleviate future financial obligations.
  • No New Debt: I will refuse to issue new bonds. The legislature will be forced to spend responsibly and future generations will not be forced to cover the excesses of today.
  • Eliminating Redundant Programs: I will identify and advocate for the elimination of redundant or unnecessary government programs, ensuring taxpayer money is spent wisely.
  • Reducing Bureaucracy: I will work to streamline state financial operations, reducing bureaucratic overhead and improving efficiency.
  • Bitcoin as Legal Tender: I will advocate for the recognition of Bitcoin as legal tender in Pennsylvania, allowing citizens to use it for transactions, pay taxes, and conduct other financial activities, thus promoting financial freedom and innovation.
  • Reducing Bureaucracy: I will work to streamline state financial operations, reducing bureaucratic overhead and improving efficiency.
  • I will advocate for the privatization of education, empowering parents and students with more choices and fostering competition among schools. This will lead to higher quality education, lower costs, and better outcomes for our children, ensuring a brighter future for Pennsylvania.
  • Civil asset forfeiture is theft, pure and simple. Assets are simply seized under the belief that they might have been connected to criminal activity. The rightful owner is then expected to prove that those assets were legally acquired, often resulting in massive legal bills, settlements for only some of the assets, or simply giving up because fighting the legal battle will cost more than the assets are worth. I will not permit any assets seized under civil asset forfeiture to enter the state treasury nor be distributed to any agency. Any assets seized under civil asset forfeiture will be returned to its rightful owner. Law enforcement will have to prove a crime in court with a guilty verdict before seizing any assets.
  • Opposing Tax Increases: I will oppose any efforts to raise taxes, advocating instead for responsible spending and budget management. I will advocate for broad tax cuts for all Pennsylvanians.
  • Supporting Free Markets: I will support policies that foster free markets and competition, driving economic growth and innovation.
  •  I will hold Harrisburg and Washington D.C. accountable for their actions, ensuring that state and federal policies serve the best interests of Pennsylvanians. By prioritizing local needs and championing the rights and freedoms of our citizens, I will work tirelessly to protect our state’s financial integrity and independence.
